What are our missions ?
Young people during a visit
The Club carries out several actions aiming at structuring and improving the quality of the industrial, scientific and technical offer of visit.

The TISTRA's Charter... a quality label
It is a strict inventory of every member's duties, made to guarantee the visitor a great quality of prestation. Each member of the TISTRA network has to respect objective criteria, the main ones being : 
  •  A quality of welcome (panels and documentation have to be clear and visible - the opening schedules have to answer to the public requests - the prices have to be attractive - the sites have to accept and adapt their visit to all categories of visitors).
  • The contents of the visit have to be « thrilling » : it must have a real interest, that is : after the tour, the visitor must feel he has learnt something and has a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The "lesson" also has to be lively and attractive.
    This qualitative approach is comprehensive : evaluation of the potential members by an anonymous audit and continuous estimation of the quality level of prestation of each member.

Organisation of training sessions - actions enabling each one to better know their public - development and qualification of their offer ....

Develop Industrial, Scientific and Technical Tourism in the Rhône-Alpes region
The TISTRA network manages helps for surveys on the sites.
The TISTRA network also manages a « help to investment » aimed at improving the existing circuit. This help is strictly reserved to members.

Create a strong TISTRA network
The aim is to tighten the links existing between the members so as to make it dynamic and create a network system leading to share of experience and synergy work.
It is also to develop outside partnerships with local information actors like departmental committees for tourism, chambers of trade and industry, etc..., so as to make them sensitive to this type of topic.

The TISTRA network also promotes this particular touristic offer according to the identified communication targets. The priority was set on the broad and close public (clients from the region and passers-by).
